RAccording to the estimates of the British intelligence services, the United States uses in Ukraine outdated carrier missiles already designed for nuclear warheads. Debris from a type of missile believed to have been brought down can be seen in publicly available recordings, dating back to the 1980s and developed as a nuclear delivery system, according to a report from Britain’s Ministry of Defense on Saturday. Rocket launchers will now be launched without weapons and without warheads.
The British government said that although these missiles could cause damage, it was unlikely that Moscow would have any serious success with them. Instead, the Kremlin hopes to distract Ukraine’s air defences. London saw this as evidence of the depletion of Russia’s arsenal of long-range missiles.
Since the beginning of the war of Russian aggression against Ukraine at the end of February, the British Ministry of Defense has been publishing daily information on the course of the war, citing intelligence information. By doing so, the British government wants to counter the Russian image and keep the Allies in line. Moscow accuses London of waging a disinformation campaign.
